What the button does
When you reach the required level, a Rebirth control appears. June 2026 guides place it on the left side of the screen. One June 18 guide instead says the Rebirth menu is on the right and uses a red button. Look for the Rebirth label rather than a fixed corner.
Using it resets current Speed toward the start and applies a permanent Speed multiplier. The panel shows the multiplier for that step. TechWiser noted a Robux skip for the requirement and did not recommend it, because the level grind is the loop.
Later guides say Wins, Trails, and Auras stay with you. Confirm that on the panel before you accept. Equip the best Trail you already own so the new multiplier applies to the first steps after the reset. Rebuild on a treadmill before you re-enter a hard stage.
Two published ladders, not one current table
A June 18, 2026 article printed this 20-step ladder. It is kept as a dated reference. Do not treat it as the live October board:

An August 9, 2026 rebirth index repeats rebirth 20 at level 600 for x100B and calls it the highest row in that dataset. An August 30, 2026 guide then describes Ascend after Rebirth 32/32, costing 200T trophies (the same Wins pool), dropping you to level 1, granting a permanent x8 on top of a new tier, and awarding the Broken Mask. A July 20, 2026 video also talks through rebirths past the early levels and a much larger total multiplier.
Those sources cannot be averaged into a new ladder. If your panel shows 32 rebirths, the June 20-step table is an older slice. If your panel still stops earlier, do not pay toward a 32nd rebirth you cannot see.
When to press it
Rebirth when the next requirement is met and you do not need your current Speed for a clear you are about to finish. Waiting far past the requirement delays the permanent multiplier. Finishing a safe-zone claim first is reasonable.
Do not Rebirth immediately after you transfer to Galaxy 2 until you know which galaxy's counter the panel will reset.
Ascend checklist
If the Ascend panel is on your screen:
- Confirm it shows 32/32, not a lower rebirth count.
- Read whether the cost is 200T trophies or the same sum in Wins.
- Expect a drop to level 1 and a tier change. The August 30 guide shows Tier 0 at x1 becoming Tier 1 at x8, plus the Broken Mask.
- Let the result screen finish. Rebuild Speed on the keyboard field, then take rebirths again as each one unlocks.
The cutscene described with that reward mentions a character called The Mask. That is a presentation of the reward, not a combat boss you have to defeat first.
